Frustration

When I was a musician I heard things I couldn’t play. Now I am an artist and I see images I cannot create.

I guess its the bane of being a creative person. Just because you can imagine it, it doesn’t always mean you can give it life outside of your imagination.

I don’t remember when I doodled this dreamy scene. When I tried to create it in fabric it was so frustrating … it just wasn’t looking the way I envisioned…

So I added it to the WIP stack and will revisit when I’m feeling more confident. 😉

As I contemplate that, I realize that inspiration is only part of the recipe for creating art. Boldness is also required to go forward into the unknown and bring it to life.
