This quilt represents the mysterious “crop circles” that appear overnight in our fields. Many people are surprised to find out there are 8 colors in this quilt – I used Kona cotton – black, dark gray, medium gray, light gray, navy, dark blue, brown, and white. I challenged myself to create a modern design with a minimalist style… some of the circles are “floated” off the edge of the quilt. It was juried into Quilts-Art-Quilts in 2017 and took first place in the Cotton Patch Quilters guild show.
