The facing is what I have yet to do to finish this 2-headed beast.
It’s been quilted and hanging on the wall for a couple of months — and now that the deadline for a show is coming up I will finally do the hand stitching part… which means I will finally make the facings and the sleeve and sew them on by hand.
Some of my quilter friends tell me how much they love hand stitching– the look of it, the feel of it, the poetry of it. I never was gifted with that part of the sewing experience!
